Join the staff of Ruby Salon in Annapolis in supporting the Saint Baldrick’s Foundation this weekend at Fado Irish Pub on West Street.
Saint Baldrick’s raises money to fund children’s cancer research. Stylists Steve, Kelly, and John Paul have volunteered to have their heads shaved this Sunday, March 15th, as part of the annual St. Patrick’s day event.
Show your support: come and watch them as they “lose their hair”, or click here to donate to this worthy cause. Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed with childhood cancers and many face life altering or life ending struggles with often painful and debilitating illnesses. The founders of Saint Baldrick’s were looking for a way to both give back and show their solidarity with these children, as well as their sense of gratitude for their own good fortune.
Ruby Salon is more than just your local spot for great hair design, color and beauty services, we consider ourselves a part of the community and look forward to opportunities like this to participate with other local businesses and give back. Last year Ruby stylist Alex Green raised $3,000 in her fundraising efforts for Saint Baldrick’s and had her head shaved at the Annapolis area event.
Check back next week for “after” photos!
